Trying something different

It's been a while since I've had time to blog. Sickness took over my entire body for 2 weeks! Horrible timing for painting but great for brainstorming. In that time my husband mentioned I should try painting super heros and villians. (ofcourse he would, he loves comic books and cartoons). I put that idea on the mental back burner assuming that I couldnt even do it if I tried but then this morning I woke up and thought differently. I think initially I was more concerned with wasting a canvas if it didn't turn out like I planned. I had already failed in my mind. But what's one canvas....It was worth it to see "IF" I could.

Okay, so it's not perfect BUT I like it and I think it will work great in my husband's man cave/workout room/comicbook den haven lol.

It was a fun little project but next time (see...there's already a next time :) ) I think I'll take my time and work on it for more than a couple hours.
